Rafael Jung

Rafael Jung has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Rafael currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Knowtrex GmbH, a Big Data company specializing in the automotive industry. In this role, they successfully led the migration of software and databases into a scalable product and oversaw a team of 10 developers.

Prior to their current position, Rafael was the CTO and Tech-Consultant at Jungsoft, where they contributed to digital transformation projects for a range of companies, from startups to Fortune 500. Rafael'sexpertise in all aspects of digital transformation helped companies in their software development and technological advancements.

Rafael also has experience as a Partner and Technology Consultant at the Ibiza Center for Entrepreneurship, where they provided strategic technology guidance. Rafael co-founded two companies, Meteoric Technologies and Kartrak, where they served as the CTO and Co-Founder. With Meteoric Technologies, they defined the tech stack, secured funding, and managed the tech team for an event-to-user matching app. At Kartrak, they oversaw the software and hardware architecture, team management, and DevOps implementations for ERP and automation products.

Additionally, Rafael worked as a Technology Consultant and Remote Team Manager at Metrinomics GmbH, leading the migration of legacy applications and implementing modern methodologies. Rafael was also responsible for budgeting and building the next generation of an e-fitness app as the CTO and Co-Founder of Alltleta.

Earlier in their career, Rafael worked as a Software Engineer at Rolls-Royce, where they developed an internal platform connecting multiple data sources with a modern UI/UX. Rafael began their career as a Ruby Ninja Developer, undertaking freelance projects involving Ruby on Rails, React, and DevOps.

Rafael Jung's education history begins in 2007 when they attended Marista where they completed their Ensino Médio, or high school education, in 2008. In 2009, they attended MVHS for a brief period. Rafael pursued further education at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 2011 to 2018, earning a graduate degree in Control and Automation Engineering. Lastly, from 2014 to 2016, they attended the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and earned a master's degree in Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik.
