Alec Schmidt has extensive work experience as a product designer, visual designer, and creative director. Alec started their career as a freelance UI/UX designer in 2006 and then worked as a UX/UI designer at 29th Drive from 2011 to 2013, where they collaborated with a diverse range of clients. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Disqus as a product designer, overseeing the design process for various platforms. Alec then joined Teespring in 2015 as a lead brand designer, responsible for managing design processes, photography, and art direction. Alec was later promoted to the role of Creative Director, leading a rebranding effort. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Envoy as a visual designer, creating assets for marketing, sales, and internal use. At Digit.co, they worked as a product designer from 2019 to 2020, participating in high-level cycle planning and developing design solutions. Currently, Alec Schmidt is employed as a Senior Product Designer at Juni Learning, starting in 2021.
Alec Schmidt's education history includes attending The University of New Mexico from 2006 to 2007, where they pursued a field of study in Liberal Arts. Following this, they enrolled at Mesa Community College from 2009 to 2011, completing an AAS degree in Graphic Design.
