Johan Sejr Brinch Nielsen

Johan Sejr Brinch Nielsen has held a number of roles in the technology industry. In 2021, they began working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Juni. From 2018 to 2021, they held the same role at Pleo.io. In 2017, they co-founded Seasoned Software. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Google, where they were responsible for making Google's services fast and reliable for billions of users. From 2011 to 2013, they held a Research Assistant role at Technical University of Denmark, and also worked part-time as an IT-engineer. In 2011, they were an Assistant Teacher (Tutor) at University of Copenhagen. From 2010 to 2011, they were an Assistant Teacher (Tutor) at Københavns Universitet, teaching Introductory Computer Science in Python and SQL. From 2009 to 2010, they were an Assistant Teacher (Tutor) at University of Copenhagen, teaching Introductory Computer Science in Python and SQL. In 2008, they worked as a Developer (part time) at Exiqon, developing and improving implementations of algorithms for medical research in Java, C, and Perl. That same year, they were an Assistant Teacher (Tutor) at University of Copenhagen, teaching Distribution and Databases in SQL and Haskell.

Johan Sejr Brinch Nielsen obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2009. Johan Sejr Brinch then pursued a Master degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2010-2012. In 2010, they also completed a Master degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton. Prior to this, they attended Allerød Gymnasium from 2002-2005, where they studied Matematisk.
