John Ray III

John Ray III is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the security industry, currently serving as President & CEO of both Sonitrol Security Solutions and Level 5 Security Group since 2001 and 2012, respectively. Both companies specialize in providing fully-integrated electronic security systems, including verified intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance. In addition to their leadership roles, John is actively involved on the Board of Directors for Broward Workshop and has served as a Board Member and Past Chair for Junior Achievement of South Florida. Their past leadership positions include Member and Past President of the Executives' Association of Fort Lauderdale and the Sonitrol National Dealers Association. John’s early career includes roles as a Sales Representative at Sensormatic and an Investment Officer at Trustmark National Bank. Educational credentials include an MBA from Millsaps College and a BBA from the same institution.
