The Junior League of Orange County, CA, is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership skills for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Since its inception in 1956, JLOCC has been a labor of love for thousands of Orange County women who have been dedicated to affecting positive change in our community and committed to the belief that volunteer service is an essential part of responsible citizenship. For over 60 years, JLOCC has been at the forefront of lasting and positive change. Each year, our more than 650 women of JLOCC contribute over 12,000 hours of volunteer service to Orange County, adding up to enormous impact in our community. Over the years, JLOCC has been instrumental in the founding of several prominent Orange County organizations including OneOC (formerly the Volunteer Center of Orange County), New Directions for Women, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Orangewood Children’s Home, and most recently, The Academy of the Orangewood Children’s Foundation. JLOCC embraces diverse perspectives, builds partnerships and inspires shared solutions. Our members make a difference in areas that are essential to the development and growth of our community.
