William Metz

William Metz is a Computer Science major at Pomona College with extensive experience in software engineering, research, and finance. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Intern at Juniper Networks, Metz previously contributed as a Research Assistant on the NSF-funded LISA initiative, focusing on software development for gravitational wave detection while mentoring junior researchers. Additional internships include work at Jacobs on the US Army's Phoenix Project and as a Project Member at P-ai, where Metz contributed to AI research. As an Analyst at Sagehen Capital Management, Metz analyzed securities for a hedge fund portfolio. Furthermore, Metz co-founded the Roomer App to enhance shared living experiences and has a background in tutoring high school students in Math and Chemistry.
