Allison Mabbott has an extensive work experience that spans from 2006 to 2023. In 2006, they worked as a Promotions/Special Events for Radio Disney. In 2007, they worked as a Reporter for The Daily Illini, where they reported social, political and environmental issues for radio. In 2008, they worked as a Production Assistant for CBS News, where they supported day-to-day coverage, breaking news on-air as well as special reports including the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election coverage. Allison also worked as a Booking for The Oprah Winfrey Show, where they produced backgrounders for guests of The Oprah Winfrey Show. From 2009 to 2017, they worked for Ronald McDonald House Charities CNI, first as a Sr. Communications Manager, then as a Manager of Communication & Entertainment Industry Relations, and finally as a Manager of Communication & Events Manager. In 2017, they worked as a Cause Marketing Consultant for Beach House Group. From 2017 to 2019, they worked for Yoobi, first as a Marketing Director, then as a Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy & Impact, and finally as a Cause Marketing. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Marketing & Impact Consultant for Good Talk. Since 2020, they have been working as the Head of Marketing and Product Development and Co-Founder for Junk Theory, where they are responsible for designing and executing a world-class marketing program and developing a launch collection of products from the ground up.

Allison Mabbott obtained their Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Allison then went on to complete a Masters in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business. Additionally, they attended the Accademia Italiana - Arte Moda & Design, where they studied Fine/Studio Arts, General. Allison also obtained an Open Water Diver certification from PADI.
