Akili Hinson MD MBA has a long and varied work experience. Akili began in 2000 as a Research Assistant in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center. In 2005, they were a Research Assistant in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and a Research Assistant in the Department of Vascular Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. In 2008, they began their role as a Resident Physician in the Department of Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital. In 2011, they were a Summer Associate in Healthcare Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Commercialization & Forecasting professional at IQVIA. In 2020, they became the Founder & CEO of Juno Medical.
Akili Hinson MD MBA received a BA in Economics from Georgetown University from 2000 to 2004, an MD from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University from 2004 to 2008, and an MBA in Finance and Healthcare Management from Columbia Business School from 2010 to 2012.
