Christopher Melton has over 20 years of work experience in the finance industry. Christopher began their career in 1995 as a Senior Real Estate Securities Analyst for RREEF Funds. In 1997, they moved to JPMorgan Chase as a Vice President, Equity Research. Christopher then joined Kingdon Capital as a Portfolio Manager in 2000. In 2010, they became the Chief Financial Officer for Any Old Iron. In 2012, they took on the role of Principal & Co-Founder for Callegro Investments, LLC, where they operated as Chief Strategy and Investment Officer and was involved in executing all stages of land acquisition and turnover. In 2011, they took on the role of Director & Audit Committee Chair for Safe & Green Holdings Corp., where they were responsible for the appointment, compensation, retention, and oversight of their public accounting firm. In 2019, they took on the role of Director & Audit Committee Chair for Jupiter Wellness, Inc. and Advisor for SVN | Commercial Advisory Group.
Christopher Melton obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley between 1991 and 1995. In 2014, they obtained their Business/Board of Directors Certification from UCLA Anderson School of Management. In 2021, they obtained their CYBERSECURITY FOR MANAGERS: A PLAYBOOK certification from the MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2020, they obtained their Georgia Real Estate License from the State of Georgia Real Estate Commission. In 2018, they obtained their South Carolina Real Estate License from the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
