Irnela Bajrovic, PhD

Irnela Bajrovic, PhD has an extensive work experience in various positions. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Jurata Thin Film since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. (AskBio) where they held the role of Formulation Team Lead from August 2022 to January 2023. Before their position as team lead, they worked as a Scientist II at AskBio from November 2020 to July 2022.

Dr. Bajrovic's experience also includes serving as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from January 2014 to October 2020. During their time at the university, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant from August 2016 to May 2019. Irnela gained further experience as an Intern at the World Health Organization from June 2018 to August 2018, where they contributed to various projects related to HPV vaccination and policy development.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Bajrovic worked as a Student Mentor at the University of Texas at Austin's Freshmen Research Initiative from January 2013 to May 2016. Irnela also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from January 2012 to December 2012.

Irnela Bajrovic, PhD completed their education in a chronological manner. Irnela began their academic journey at The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry. This educational experience took place between 2011 and 2015.

Building upon their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at The University of Texas at Austin and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences. This advanced degree was achieved between 2015 and 2020.
