Simon Raess

Simon Raess has held various positions in the tech industry since 2001. Simon started their career as a Usability Analyst and Information Architect at Swisscom. In 2003, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Bern, where they conducted studies on usage, effects, and design of new media. In 2005, they founded Cmsbox and served as UX Lead and Product Manager, devising and producing the eponymous web content management system. In 2008, they joined Google as a Product Designer, leading the design of new and existing Google products and features. In 2013, they founded Ginetta Web/Mobile, an innovative UX design studio located in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2020, they became Co-Founder and Design Strategist at Jurata.

Simon Raess attended the Universität Bern from 1999 to 2006, studying Social and Media Psychology.
