Koh Kew Sek

Koh Kew Sek is the Chief Operating Officer at Jurong Engineering Limited. Koh has over fifteen years of experience in the engineering field and has been with Jurong Engineering for over ten years.

Kew Sek started their career as an Electrical Supervisor with Kannan Constructions in 2000. In 2005, they joined SPICJEL Engineering LTD in India as a Mechanical Engineer. Koh spent two years there before moving back to Singapore to join Jurong Engineering as a Lead Piping Engineer in 2008. In 2012, they were promoted to Chief Piping Engineer and held that position until they were promoted to their current role in 2013.

Kew Sek’s experience and expertise have been instrumental in Jurong Engineering’s success. Koh is a dedicated and hard-working employee who has always put the company’s interests first. Under their leadership, Jurong Engineering has grown to become one of the leading engineering firms in Singapore.

Koh Kew Sek was educated as a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at E.G.S.Pillai Eng. College, Anna University, India. Koh then pursued a Master of Business Administration in Project Management at Allagappa University, Tamil Nadu, India. Afterwards, they received their Diploma In Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Motilal Nehru Govt. Polytechnic. Finally, they completed their S.S.L.C at Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School. Additionally, they have various certifications from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. in Primavera P6 and AutoCAD, Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India in Indian Continuous Discharge Certificate Cum Seafarer's Identity Document, and TWI in CSWIP 3.1 Level II Welding Inspector.

Koh Kew Sek reports to Masao Akamatsu, Managing Director & CEO. Koh Kew Sek works with Derick Lim Chien Joo - Executive Officer & General Manager, Finance Division, Alan Phang - Executive Officer & General Manager, Human Resources & Administration Division, and Khor Tseh Jiang - Executive Officer & General Manager, Corporate Affairs Division.
