Luis Adrián Cabrera Diego has worked in a variety of roles in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). In 2021, they began working as a Data Scientist - NLP Engineer at Jus Mundi. In 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher in Natural Language Processing (NLP) at La Rochelle Université, where they worked on the creation of NER (Named Entity Recognition) systems for the European Project "Embeddia". From 2017 to 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher in Natural Language Processing (NLP) at Edge Hill University, where they focused on the development of NLP tools such as a sentiment analyzer, an emotion classifier and a code detector. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Research and Development NLP Engineer at FLEJAY Systèmes d'information Inc., where they developed different NLP tools to process résumés. In 2011, they were an Engineer Intern at El Colegio de México, where they worked on the conversion of the CEMC from a CSV database to one based on XML files and PostgreSQL. In 2010, they were an NLP Engineer Intern at Instituto de Ingeniería de la UNAM, where they worked on the extraction of scientific terms from a corpus of school books.

Luis Adrián Cabrera Diego received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Avignon Université between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering specialized in Natural Language Processing (NLP) from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México between 2006 and 2011.
