Ricardo Duarte

Ricardo Duarte has extensive experience in software development, particularly focusing on iOS and Node.js/AWS development. Ricardo has worked in various companies and positions throughout their career.

Ricardo started their career as a junior software developer at mxData Ltd from October 2009 to October 2010.

In 2012, Ricardo worked as a contractor for Fiducenter Contract, where they implemented an iOS application. Ricardo was responsible for creating the specification proposal, design document, and developing an iOS universal application that incorporated features like a PDF viewer, map creation using MKMapView, and data import from XML files.

From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Barclays as an iOS Developer, leading the releases for the mybarclaycard app and later the pingit app.

In 2014, they joined ISBAN - Grupo Santander as an iOS developer, where they collaborated with product owners, testing teams, and stakeholders to create a reusable toolset for multiple internal and external applications.

From 2019 to 2020, Ricardo worked at Reach plc as a node.js/AWS developer, focusing on backend development with Node.js and AWS services.

Most recently, Ricardo has been employed at Just, where they hold the role of Lead Developer since November 2022. Ricardo is also serving as a Node.js Developer since January 2021.
