Jim Reamey

Jim Reamey is a seasoned automation engineer with extensive experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Automation Engineer at Just - Evotec Biologics since March 2020, Jim has held various roles, including Senior Automation Engineer. Prior to this, Jim worked as an Automation Engineer Consultant at ARUP Laboratories from 2015 to 2019, where significant contributions included developing an automated platform for processing patient blood samples for Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing and automating PCR and sequencing reactions. Jim's earlier career included ten years at Exelixis as a Research Scientist, where collaboration with biologists and chemists led to the automation of numerous lab protocols, as well as engineering roles at Deka Engineering and the Department of Human Genetics at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, focusing on software, hardware solutions, and custom equipment design. Jim holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
