Nick Escalante, CFA has been working in the financial industry since 2008. Nick began their career as an Investment Analyst at PlanMember Financial Corporation, where they conducted quantitative research, performed due diligence for potential investments, and designed and implemented custom regression algorithms. From there, they moved up to Assistant Portfolio Manager, Asset Allocation Strategist/Portfolio Manager, AVP - Senior Investment Strategist, and Vice President of Investments. In their most recent role, they served as the lead Portfolio Manager, successfully navigating the 2020 financial markets by building defensive positions in February and increasing aggressiveness in April, and shifting large growth profits to small cap and value in September 2020. In 2021, they moved to Just Invest, LLC as a Senior Portfolio Manager.
Nick Escalante, CFA obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Financial Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2008. In 2012, they earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
