Carla N. Perez, Esq. is currently a Staff Attorney at JustCause (formerly VLSP). Prior to this role, Carla held the same position at Disability Rights New York and ECBA Volunteer Lawyers Project - VLP. Carla also has experience working with the Pro Se Unit at the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. Carla earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Child & Family Studies with minors in Forensic Science & Psychology from Syracuse University in 2008.

JustCause’s mission is to improve the quality of life of low-income residents of Monroe County by ensuring the existence of a readily available panel of skilled volunteer attorneys to resolve serious legal problems.
