Abigail Thompson

Abigail Thompson, LMHC, currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Lesley University since August 2024, teaching graduate-level courses for aspiring mental health counselors and expressive therapists. With extensive experience at Justice Resource Institute, Abigail has held roles as Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director, providing clinical oversight, staff training, and direct therapeutic services to adolescents in a residential setting. Previous positions include Therapeutic Teacher and Art Therapy Intern at Community Therapeutic Day School, Teaching Artist at Artistic Noise, and Senior Academic Fellow at St. Stephen's Youth Programs. Abigail holds a Master's degree in Licensed Mental Health Counseling/Art Therapy from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree from Emmanuel College, reflecting a strong foundation in mental health and art therapy practices.
