Carolyn Howard

Carolyn Howard is an experienced clinician with a strong background in social work and mental health. Currently serving as an In-home Family Therapist and Outpatient Therapist at Justice Resource Institute since June 2021, Carolyn provides in-home therapy for children aged 7-17 and outpatient therapy for individuals of all ages, focusing on clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions. Previous roles include Clinical Social Work Intern at Greater Lawrence Community Action Council Inc., where case management and parent education were provided to families with mental health issues, and various consulting positions at Harvard University and Harvard Medical School, contributing to research on diversity, educational practices, and curriculum development. Carolyn holds a Master of Social Work from Simmons University, an Ed.M. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Connecticut College.
