Katia Verreault

Katia Verreault is a seasoned professional in the field of dance movement therapy and trauma-sensitive practices, currently serving as a consultant and team trainer at War Child Holland since December 2016. With extensive experience at various organizations, including ARQ Nationaal Psychotrauma Centrum and Justice Resource Institute, Verreault specializes as a dance movement therapist, trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator, and psycho-social support advisor. Originally from Canada, Verreault has lived over 15 years in Kathmandu, Nepal, and is now based in the Netherlands. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Education from Université de Montréal and a Master's degree in Dance Movement Therapy from Codarts Rotterdam. Verreault also participated in the Erasmus programme at Leiden University, focusing on Pervasive Development Disorder.
