Leslie Jones-Dove is a Co-Founder and CTO at JusticeText, where responsibilities include developing cloud-based video evidence management software to assist public defenders. Leslie has successfully pursued pilots with various public defender offices and received the inaugural Civic Engagement Leadership Grant from the University of Chicago Institute of Politics. Previously recognized as part of Forbes 30 Under 30, Leslie has experience as a software engineer at Google, focusing on Android development for Google Photos, and served as a teaching assistant grader at the University of Chicago. Additional roles include software engineering internships at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Nourish Technology Inc., alongside venture partnership with Contrary Capital. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, and began a formative research internship at the University of Maryland College Park Polymer Processing Laboratory.
