Carl Livie

Carl Livie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Carl is currently a Co-Founder and Co-CEO at JustPlay GmbH, a mobile entertainment company focused on creating a platform for players to discover and engage with games. Prior to this, Carl was a Managing Director at Gimica GmbH, a Managing Director at Soft Baked Apps GmbH, and held various positions at AppLovin, including Managing Director, EMEA and Manager of Business Development. Carl also worked as a Business Development professional at moboqo, an advertising network dedicated to helping mobile game developers optimize their monetization strategies. Additionally, Carl was a seed investor at elmenus.com, an online restaurant directory in Egypt, and a Co-Founder and Co-Author at NABATAEANS, where they provided analysis on economic and political developments in the Middle East.

Carl Livie completed their A-Levels at Dulwich College from 2004 to 2006. From 2007 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies at SOAS University of London. In 2010 and 2011, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Alexandria in Egypt, specializing in Arabic.
