Loyd Copeland has over 35 years of experience in the technology industry. Loyd began their career in 1985 as a Credit Supervisor at General Electric Credit Corporation (GECC). In 1987, they moved to Concord Computing as a Programmer/Analyst, where they wrote and implemented settlement reports for around 200 banks. From 1990 to 1995, they worked at ARDIS (A joint venture between IBM and Motorola) as a Network Software Development and Design Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for the production, daily and monthly, billing system for a data radio frequency data network. Loyd also maintained the Customer Service order entry Pathway system that registered devices to the network.
From 1995 to 1997, Loyd Copeland worked at Dell EMC as a Global Data Migration Product Owner/Lead/Business System Analysis. In this role, they managed Agile teams to migrate legacy billing data and all open AR data from a legacy Siebel system to a new BRM and Oracle billing system. Loyd also served as an Oracle BRM Product Owner and Technical PM (Agile), leading the gathering of business requirements for the BRM Flex Billing project, and converting the project from the SDLC methodology to the Agile methodology using Team Foundation (TFS). Loyd also acted as a PeopleSoft Interfaces Technical Lead, designing and implementing a secure solution for the PeopleSoft HCM HR interfaces.
In 2017, Loyd Copeland joined Congero Technology Group (EBillSoft LLC) as a Congero Product Owner, managing an Agile team of developers to facilitate the development of an in-house billing system. Loyd also worked as a Senior Technical Product Owner at Equifax, managing two Agile teams, 7 Developers and 2 QA, for BRM and SFDC development using JIRA to monitor their velocity and facilitate the resolution of risks and blockers.
In 2018, Loyd Copeland worked as an Architect/Developer at the Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team. Loyd is currently employed as the Director, Platform and Security at Justransform, a technology company that provides Enterprises a single Innovative Data Integration Cloud platform. In this role, they are also the Platform Architect, responsible for connecting, transforming, normalizing, validating, orchestrating, and delivering any EDI, API, IOT, EAI, Blockchain, or RAW data.
Loyd Copeland attended Oakton College from 1980 to 1983, studying Computer Science. Loyd then attended Illinois State University from 1983 to 1984, also studying Computer Science. In October 2018, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
