Matt Albon

Matt Albon is a seasoned music educator and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the music industry. As the founder and owner of JUST ROCK® since October 2020, Matt has been dedicated to teaching drums and fostering musical talent. Previously, Matt operated as a franchisee of The Rock Project from June 2011 to October 2020, running a successful music school in Bristol for children aged 7-18. Matt also served as a freelance drum assessor at the BIMM Institute from October 2010 to October 2015, evaluating students for higher education courses. In addition, Matt was a professional drummer for the rock band The Chemists, who signed a major recording contract in 2005. Educationally, Matt holds an Advanced Diploma in Session Musician from the British Academy of New Music and a Certificate in Drums from Drumtech.
