Em Orendorff

Em Orendorff has worked in the tech and coffee industries since 2017. In 2022, they began working as a Full Stack Engineer and Associate Software Engineer at Vanilla. In 2021, they worked as a Frontend Developer at Dojo4 LCA, where they developed and designed UI components and responsive pages utilizing a CMS for client-side modification. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Intelligentsia Coffee Inc. as a Retail Manager and Educator, where they led a strong team and streamlined systems and processes of cafe ordering. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Boxcar Coffee Roasters as an Assistant General Manager and Wholesale Account Trainer, where they oversaw hiring, managing and training of staff, crafted high quality drinks, and performed on site trainings.

Em Orendorff began their education in 2006 when they attended Colorado Academy and earned their High School diploma in 2011. In the same year, they attended Maryland Institute College of Art and earned an Interaction Design/Graphic Design certificate. From 2012 to 2015, they attended University of Colorado Boulder and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in Asian Studies/Civilization and a minor in Business, as well as a certificate in South Asian Languages/Civilizations. In 2021, they attended Turing School of Software & Design.
