Shirley Zhang

Shirley Zhang, CFA, currently serves as the VP and Head of Sales at Vanilla since July 2025. Previously, Shirley held the position of Global Head of GTM Strategy for Investment Products at SimCorp from February 2024 to August 2025. At Qontigo, from April 2021 to April 2024, Shirley was the Managing Director and Head of Asset Owner and Consultant Sales for the Americas, where an inaugural asset owner/consultant coverage team was established. Prior roles include Regional Director at FTSE Russell, Head of Institutional Sales at Tocqueville Asset Management, and Institutional Sales and Account Management at EARNEST Partners. Earlier in Shirley's career, significant experience was gained at SEI Investments, US Navy, and various roles focusing on project management, sales, and business development. Education includes an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School and a B.Arch. from Cornell University.
