Josh Kurzman

Josh Kurzman is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in materials science and electrochemical energy storage. Currently serving as Staff Scientist and previously holding roles such as Senior Manager and Senior Materials Scientist at Juul Labs since April 2018, Josh has led significant advancements in battery technology. Prior to this, experience includes a position as Senior Research Scientist at Prieto Battery, focusing on electrode development for Li-ion batteries. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Reed College, complemented by post-doctoral fellowships in reputable laboratories where Josh contributed to studies in materials synthesis and characterization.
