Juxtaposition Arts
Patricio DeLara, currently working at Juxtaposition Arts as an Assistant Lab Lead and Junior Art Director, previously served as a Freelance Illustrator at Pollen Midwest in 2018. Patricio attended Minneapolis College from 2016 to 2018, where Patricio earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Graphic Design. At Pollen Midwest, Patricio was responsible for illustrating portraits for the '50 Over 50' event highlighting nominees from various categories in partnership with AARP.
Juxtaposition Arts
Juxtaposition Arts develops community by engaging and employing young urban artists in hands-on education initiatives that create pathways to self-sufficiency while actualizing creative power. We combine design education and youth empowerment with a social-enterprise business model. Students begin with visual-arts literacy training and then have opportunities to be employed while learning and teaching professional design, production and marketing skills in one of five social-enterprise studios that produce high-quality design products and services for sale to local and national customers.
