Emily Hopper

Emily Hopper is a highly skilled data scientist with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at JWP (JW Player) since January 2021, Emily has previously held positions as a Senior Data Scientist and Product Analyst within the same organization. Prior to JWP, Emily completed a fellowship at Insight Data Science and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, focusing on mathematical modeling of geophysical systems. Additionally, Emily participated in a data science fellowship at Faculty, where training included AI and machine learning implementation, complemented by an internship with Liberis. Emily holds a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from Brown University and a B.A. and M.Sci. in Natural Sciences (Earth Sciences) from the University of Cambridge.
