Tom Boshoven

Tom Boshoven is a Staff Software Engineer at JW Player since December 2015, specializing in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the JW Platform online video platform, particularly in media transcoding and delivery services. Prior experience includes a PDEng Trainee role at Eindhoven University of Technology, working on in-house projects with industry leaders such as Sioux and Philips Lighting. Tom's career also features a Software Engineer position at LongTail Video, where initial development of an Android library for JW Player took place, along with previous roles as a Software Developer managing plugins for content management systems. With a strong foundation in education from Eindhoven University of Technology, Tom holds a PDEng in Software Technology, an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering, and a BSc in Computer Science. Additionally, Tom served multiple roles as a Teaching Assistant in programming-related courses during academic tenure.
