Debra Koontz

Debra Koontz has extensive experience in the field of molecular diagnostics and medical technology. Currently serving at JYG Innovations since September 2020 in a molecular diagnostics role, Debra previously worked at STS Systems Integration, LLC for a short period in 2020. Prior to these positions, Debra held the role of Cell Procurement Lead at Humacyte from July 2017 to May 2020 and worked as a Medical Technologist at Dayton Children's Hospital from September 2005 to March 2019, where responsibilities included performing laboratory tests and phlebotomy. Additionally, Debra worked as HLA Tech II at Community Blood Center from 2002 to 2017 and served as a Senior Technologist at Orchid/Genescreen/National Paternity Laboratory from 1983 to 2002. Debra earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology from Wright State University between 1979 and 1983.
