Alex Hek

Alex Hek has a diverse work experience. From 2017 to present, they have been working as a Peripatetic Music Teacher, teaching guitar, bass, drums, composition, and music production. Alex has worked at various institutions including North Music Trust and Berwick Academy. Alex has been able to maximize student progress by creating tailored lesson plans. In addition to their teaching role, Alex Hek has also worked as a Musician, performing as a guitarist/singer at numerous events across the UK. Alex has achieved significant success with their band, "October Ends," with 10 million Spotify streams and 100,000 monthly listeners. Alex Hek is currently working as a Software Developer at Jyre (previously CharacterScope) since August 2021.

Alex Hek completed a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance and Composition at the University of Sunderland from 2016 to 2020. In 2021, Alex enrolled in the Zero To Mastery Academy to study Computer Software Engineering, and is currently pursuing this field of study. Additionally, Alex obtained several certifications, including "The Complete Web Developer in 2021" from Zero To Mastery Academy in April 2021, "Learn SQL Course" from Codecademy in March 2021, "Learn Python 3 Course" from Codecademy in August 2020, and "Learn the Command Line Course" from Codecademy in April 2020.
