Espen Egil Hansen

Espen Egil Hansen is an experienced leader in media and digital transformation, currently serving as Vice President of the board for JFM and Chairperson for Labrador CMS. Hansen's extensive background includes roles as Editor-in-Chief and CEO at Fyrr, where focus is on advising digital transformation, and as a Board Member for Equality Check. Previous positions include International Advisor at JP/Politikens Hus A/S, Chairman Of The Board at Shifter.no, and Executive In Residence at StartupLab. Hansen also served as Second VP on the Board of Directors for INMA and as Director of New Media Concepts at Schibsted. From December 2013 to December 2019, Hansen led Aftenposten as Editor-in-Chief and CEO, successfully guiding the transition from a print-centric model to a profitable digital subscription-based business.
