Asad Javed

Asad Javed is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as Assistant Manager - Mechanical Maintenance at K-Electric since September 2023, where responsibilities include coordinating with a Siemens Vibration Analysis Expert for the dynamic balancing of Harbin LN190-8. As a Trainee Engineer, Asad gained comprehensive knowledge of combined cycle power plant operations, specifically in the areas of gas and steam turbine functions and auxiliary system management. Prior experience includes a significant internship at Engro Powergen Thar Limited working on a project focused on pulverizers and mills for indigenous lignite utilization, along with a mechanical engineering internship at Atlas Honda LTD, which covered assembly processes of the Honda CD-70. Asad also completed an internship at the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, gaining insights into HVAC systems and water treatment processes. Asad holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, complemented by a Career Prep Fellowship from Amal Academy.
