Reza Zolfaghari is a technology leader and expert in artificial intelligence with extensive experience in video AI and computer vision. Currently participating in the K.I.E.Z. Accelerator, Reza co-founded and serves as the CTO of Zebracat AI, focusing on innovative video technology. Prior experience includes a role as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Entrepreneur First, contributing to the launch of Zebracat, and serving as a Computer Vision Scientist at Amazon Web Services, where Reza published cutting-edge research on multimodal video understanding. Reza's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Freiburg, along with previous roles as a machine learning engineer and researcher at various institutions, producing numerous publications in the field.

A part of the Science & Startups program by Berlin’s Universities towards the identification, funding and establishment of successful AI ventures (Künstliche Intelligenz Entrepreneurship Zentrum) K.I.E.Z. is provided by the startup centers of the four Berlin universities that have united their services and support strategies under the roof of Science & Startups. This gives all AI startups in our program access to the university‘s resources like innovative research, infrastructure and scientific mentors.
