David Lane

David Lane has diverse work experience in the fields of cybersecurity, IT management, and writing. David is currently working as a Security Consultant at K logix since December 2021. Prior to this, from October to December 2021, they served as a Penetration Testing Manager at Newfold Digital. From September 2018 to October 2021, they held the role of Penetration Tester at Newfold Digital and Web.com. David also has experience in IT management as an IT Special Projects Manager at Legal Associations Management, Inc. from March 2017 to September 2018. Furthermore, they worked as a Contributing Writer for The Trial Lawyer magazine from 2013 to 2017.

David Lane pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Auburn University. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: eLearnSecurity Certified Professional Penetration Tester (eCPPT) from eLearnSecurity in March 2022, Veracode Security Labs Champion Level 1 from Veracode in September 2021, Veracode Security Labs Champion Level 2 from Veracode in September 2021, Veracode Security Labs Champion Level 3 from Veracode in September 2021, OSCP - Offensive Security Certified Professional from Offensive Security in July 2018, and CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in July 2017.
