Katie Birge

Katie Birge has extensive work experience in communication and development roles. Katie started their career in 2007 at Virginia Mason Medical Center as a Communications Coordinator. Katie then worked as a Development Coordinator at Bread of Life Mission from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Piner-Olivet Union School District as an Office Manager until 2013. Following that, they became a Development Coordinator at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento as a Communications Manager, where they handled various responsibilities such as writing donor appeals, managing social media, and preparing analysis reports. Currently, they are at Educational Media Foundation K-LOVE & Air1 Media Networks, where they have held roles including Direct Mail Specialist, Direct Appeals Manager, and Senior Engagement Communications Manager. Katie currently serves as the Director of Engagement Communications.
