Brian Beard

Brian Beard has always been driven to solve problems and create efficiencies. This led him to Cargomatic, Inc., a technology company based in Venice Beach, CA, where they served as Head of Market Growth from June 2015 to December 2016. Cargomatic was born of Brian's passion to solve the inefficiency and fragmentation of the local trucking industry.

Prior to their work at Cargomatic, Brian was a Manager at Robert Half Finance & Accounting from June 2014 to May 2015. Brian's previous experience in finance and accounting proved invaluable in their role at Cargomatic.

Before their work in the private sector, Brian completed an Honors Research Assistant Internship at UC Santa Barbara from March 2014 to June 2014. Brian's experience as a research assistant honed their skills in data analysis and problem-solving.

Brian began their professional career with an internship at ABM Industries from December 2008 to May 2009. This experience gave Brian a strong foundation on which to build their successful career.

Brian Beard received their Bachelor degree from UC Santa Barbara, with a double major. Brian then went on to get their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Arizona State University. Brian started their educational career at Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, California.
