Stephanie Barney

Stephanie Barney has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent position as the Vice President of Client Experience at K12 Insight. Before joining K12 Insight, they worked at n2y LLC as the Director of Customer Success. Prior to that, Stephanie was a Regional Team Manager in Customer Success at Nearpod. Stephanie also held the position of a Professional Development Specialist at LearnZillion, where they managed and supported team members and expanded the professional development program. Stephanie has experience in curriculum and implementation management as well, as demonstrated by their role as a Curriculum and Implementation Manager at Achieve3000. Stephanie also worked as a Fifth Grade Teacher at William L. Callahan Elementary School and held various roles at Burrillville School Department, including Curriculum Writer and Leader, and Co-Coordinator of the Extended School Year Program. Stephanie's early career includes working as a Special Education Teacher at Burrillville High School and as a Youth Engagement and Action Coordinator at Plan International USA.

Stephanie Barney holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Elementary Education and Special Education K-12 from Johnson & Wales University, which they earned from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from the University of Rhode Island from 2001 to 2006. Stephanie also has additional certifications in areas such as advocating for change in organizations, coaching, de-escalating conversations for customer service, customer success leadership, and e-learning instructional design. Additionally, they hold a certification in Elementary Education and Special Education K-12 from the RI Department of Education.
