Doug Davidson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Doug is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at K2, Inc., where they identify new market opportunities and builds strategic partnerships. Prior to this, they were the Government Operating Solutions Manager at K2, responsible for developing results-based solutions for government clients.

Additionally, Doug has held the position of Director at Trilogy Federal, leading a team supporting software development for the VA's financial management modernization. Doug has also worked as a Minority Shareholder at Pinnacle Software Consulting, Inc., an Independent Sales Consultant at Crosspointe, LLC - Life Settlements, and a Senior Advisor at AQUAS, Inc.

Doug has a background in proposal management and business development, having worked as an Independent Consultant, providing these services to small businesses pursuing government contracts. Doug has also served as the Director of ERP Business Development, Civilian Agencies at CGI, responsible for expanding CGI's enterprise resource planning systems and services in the civilian agencies practice.

Doug Davidson attended JMU College of Business from 1989 to 1994 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems. Prior to that, they went to Gonzaga College High School from 1985 to 1989. Before high school, they attended Mater Dei School from 1976 to 1985. In addition to their formal education, Doug obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in February 2007.
