Vagner Ruas

Vagner Ruas is an experienced quality inspector and offshore painter, currently employed at Applus+ K2 since March 2021, specializing in tank inspections on platforms. Prior to this role, Vagner worked at AES Union from November 2020 to September 2023 as a Level 1 Climbing Painter, focusing on surface treatment, painting, and the application of Passive Fire Protection on offshore platforms. Vagner's experience also includes a position as an Industrial Painter at MIP Engenharia S/A, where responsibilities included assembly and maintenance at the COMPERJ flare from March 2019 to March 2020, and an extensive tenure at Estaleiro Brasa from October 2013 to January 2019 as a Painting Officer, involved in the construction and integration of modules for various FPSOs. Vagner holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Occupational Safety from Estácio, completed in 2022.
