F. Scott Moody

F. Scott Moody is the CEO, Co-Founder & Chief Member Advocate at K4Connect. F. has also served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) for the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network North Carolina. In this role, they enjoyed working with numerous entrepreneurs and startups in the region with the highest growth potential. Prior to their work with Blackstone, Moody co-founded AuthenTec, which went public in 2007 and was sold to Apple in 2012. F. served as the company's CEO from founding through the IPO and several acquisitions in 2009/10. F. continued to serve as a board member and active advisor to the CEO through its acquisition by Apple in 2012. The AuthenTec technologies - and 230 patents - are now used in the Touch ID.

F. Scott Moody earned their BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. F. then went on to earn their Executive MBA from the University of Florida.
