CHAD BLEVINS

Chad Blevins has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Director of Business Development at Kaart since September 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as a Technical Advisor at YouthMappers from November 2015. From January 2020 to June 2022, they worked as a Senior Principal Consultant at Locana.

Before joining Locana, Chad had a long association with USAID, where they held various roles. CHAD worked as a Geographer from April 2013 to January 2020, focusing on disaster response, recovery, and resilience-building projects worldwide. Additionally, from February 2009 to March 2013, they served as the Geospatial Coordinator, collaborating with a global network of geospatial professionals.

Their responsibilities included maintaining an ArcSDE production server, managing data schema workflows, and leading QA/QC imagery analyst production for feature extraction. Prior to SAIC, they worked as a GIS Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from 2000 to 2002.

Chad Blevins holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geoinformatics and Cartography from George Mason University. CHAD also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography from the same institution. The exact years of their education are not specified.
