Akiba Sato

Akiba Sato's work experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Forcepoint beginning in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at KAB Laboratories, Inc from December 2018. In this role, Akiba collaborated in the full software life-cycle support, led efforts to create lightweight UI and persistent data processing applications, and modernized legacy applications. Before that, Akiba worked as a Teaching Assistant at Brandeis University from June 2017 to May 2018. Akiba's earlier work experience includes being a Lab Technician at Massachusetts General Hospital from September 2014 to August 2016. In this role, they researched mechanisms related to chronic allergic dermatitis, conducted studies using mouse dermatitis models, and processed tissues for in vivo and in vitro studies.

Akiba Sato completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Brandeis University in 2014. During their undergraduate studies, Sato focused on the fields of Biochemistry, Biology, and East Asian Studies. Following this, Sato pursued further education at the Brandeis University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science between 2016 and 2018.
