KABA
Brock Portilia currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and previously held the role of Director of Finance and Administration at the Kenosha Area Business Alliance since August 2015. Prior to this, Brock gained extensive experience at Assurant as a Senior Internal Auditor from April 2012 to August 2015, and at Clifton Gunderson LLP as a Sr. Accountant from September 2010 to April 2012. Earlier in professional development, Brock worked as an Accountant at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP from January 2008 to September 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Professional Accounting (MSPA) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2006-2008) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from UW - Oshkosh (2002-2006).
KABA
The Kenosha Area Business Alliance (KABA) is Kenosha County’s economic development organization and employers association. KABA provides a range of economic development and business services to its nearly 400 member investors and to prospective members as well. KABA manages a portfolio of economic development revolving around loan funds that are used to provide low-interest loans to new and expanding businesses to support job creation. Additionally, KABA serves as a clearinghouse for site selection and economic information. KABA also delivers a number of training programs designed to upgrade the skills of area workers.
