Site Reliability Engineer at Kabam

Charles Mulemi has a diverse work experience starting from 2014. Charles worked as an Evening and Weekend Host at Bechtel International Center, where they managed and enforced rules for the center patrons. In 2015, they interned at Chegg Inc. as a Customer Ops Engineering Intern, where they were involved in backend business logic and API integration. In the same year, they also worked at Stanford University as a Tech Desk Consultant, responsible for maintaining equipment inventory and providing software and hardware support to students. Charles then became a Resident Computer Consultant, educating residents on computing at Stanford and supporting residential network connections. Charles also briefly worked as a Lifeguard at Stanford. In 2016, Charles interned at Microsoft as a Software Engineering Intern, developing plugins and features for the Xbox One Console. Charles later joined Microsoft as a Surface Ambassador, promoting and representing the Surface brand. From 2017 to 2019, Charles worked at Oracle as a Software Developer, where they were part of the compute VMI team and responsible for developing and running core virtual machine services for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Currently, they are employed at Kabam as a Site Reliability Engineer starting from 2021.

Charles Mulemi obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, starting in 2013 and graduating in 2017. Before attending Stanford, they completed their high school education at Mang'u High School from 2008 to 2011. In addition, they obtained certifications in Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in October 2015.
