Kit Wan

Kit Wan has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. They started their career as an Intern Web Developer at Science World British Columbia in 2011, where they updated and maintained the organization's website and worked with Drupal CMS. They then pursued freelance web development, redesigning and maintaining websites for small businesses while finishing their bachelor's degree at UBC. In 2014, they joined Playerize as a Software Developer, specializing in object-oriented PHP and MySQL and working with Kanban method Agile development. From 2015 to 2017, Kit worked at East Side Games as a Software Engineer, DevOps, where they were responsible for full stack development of in-house game analytics software and managing server endpoints and data flow for game event tracking. In 2017, Kit joined Kabam as a Software Engineer, starting as a Backend Engineer and progressing to Senior Software Engineer, Technical Director, and eventually Lead Software Engineer, SRE.

Kit Wan has a BA degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, which was earned between 2008 and 2013. In addition, Kit also holds a Diploma in New Media and Web Development from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, obtained between 2010 and 2011.
