Lucy Tobaru is a highly experienced UX designer with a diverse range of work experience. Lucy is currently employed at Kabam as a Senior UX Designer, focusing on improving workflows and leading initiatives for the design studio. Lucy collaborates with various stakeholders to deliver engaging and accessible multiplayer features for Kabam's flagship video game, Marvel Contest of Champions.

Prior to joining Kabam, Lucy worked at Globant, where they held the position of Senior UX Designer for Microsoft Studios. In this role, they contributed to the revamp of the user experience of the AAA video game State of Decay 2, utilizing a user-centered approach and creating a design system. Lucy also took on mentoring responsibilities for junior designers and assisted in recruitment processes.

Before their time at Globant, Lucy worked as a Senior UX/Product Designer for TheInfatuation.com. Lucy conducted user research and testing to inform information architecture and design decisions, collaborating with the product manager and developers to enhance the product experience and meet business goals.

Lucy's previous experience includes working as a User Experience Designer at Belatrix Software, where they spearheaded the creation of a cognitive solution and developed conversational design techniques. Lucy also co-founded Bar App, a B2B2C digital solution, where they led the product design process and successfully launched the company's product. Additionally, they have experience in user research at Buena Vibra and graphic design at Circus Grey and Tobaru Design.

Throughout their career, Lucy has demonstrated a strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, utilize lean methodologies, and apply user-centered design principles to create successful and impactful experiences.

Lucy Tobaru has a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from La Trobe University. Lucy also completed a specialization in Human Centered Design from UC San Diego, with a focus on Human Computer Interaction. Additionally, they pursued a course in Innovación & Design Thinking at Universidad de Piura. Lucy Tobaru has a background in DJ & Music Production from DJ COLLEGE PERU and has undergone training in Front-end development at Area 51 Training Center. Lucy also obtained certification in Art & Graphic Design from ISIL Aprende Haciendo.

In terms of additional certifications, Lucy Tobaru has obtained several certifications, including "Diversity and Inclusion: Building a Grassroots Foundations" from Udemy, "Uncovering Your Authentic Self at Work" from LinkedIn, and "Gaming Accessibility Fundamentals" from Microsoft. Lucy has also completed several game design foundations courses from LinkedIn. Lucy has also attended the Open Day de Manufactura Digital at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and completed the Startup School Online program from Y Combinator.
