Nick Grubb

Chief Executive: Radio at Kagiso Media

Nick Grubb has extensive work experience in the media industry. Nick started their career in 1996 as a Radio News Coordinator at Ecna, East Cape News. Nick then worked as a News Editor at Radio Algoa from 1997 to 1999. Following that, they served as a Program Manager at Algoa FM from 1999 to 2002, and then at 5FM from 2002 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they held roles as a Programme Strategist and New Media Manager at SABC. In 2008, they worked on brand development at Classic FM until 2010. In 2009, they launched Sussed Creative Solutions, providing consulting services to clients such as Nedbank and Rand Merchant Bank. Nick also worked with Kagiso Media during this time. In 2011, Nick became the Chief Executive: Radio at Kagiso Media. In 2020, they took on the role of Chairperson - National Association of Broadcasters: Commercial Radio Committee at the National Association of Broadcasters (South Africa), which they held until 2022.

Nick Grubb attended St John's College in Harare from 1985 to 1990, where they completed their high school education. Nick then went on to pursue a degree in Journalism and Media Studies, as well as Philosophy, at Rhodes University from 1992 to 1995.
