Alexandra Green

Alexandra Green is an experienced early childhood educator with a robust background in various teaching roles across multiple institutions. Currently serving as the Lead Preschool Teacher at Kai Ming Head Start since October 2022, Alexandra previously held the position of NC PreK Teacher at WNC Source from August 2018 to August 2022, and has extensive experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher and Assistant Toddler Teacher at Atlanta Children's Shelter between May 2012 and June 2017. Additional roles include Associate Teacher at The Suzuki School, Substitute Teacher at Dunwoody Prep, and Associate Toddler Teacher at Family Service Agency of San Francisco, among others. Alexandra holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy in Early Childhood from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Georgia State University. Kai Ming Head Start

Kai Ming provides free preschool services to children ages three months to five years old from eligible families living in San Francisco. Upon enrollment in our program, your family will have access to comprehensive services at no cost to you. We offer two program options across eight (8) different locations: (1) full-day full-year or (2) full-day part-year. The comprehensive services package includes: - A high quality multicultural infant, toddler and preschool program - Healthy nutritious meals for children at school - Child health screenings and referral services - Parental education - Family support services - Services to children with special needs through an Individualized Education Program (IEP) which is provided through San Francisco Unified School District. We receive funding from Head Start, California Depart of Education and San Francisco Office of Early Care Education to support the development of young children and their families.
